The Nike Air Max 95 LX Hits Hard in Smoky Blue and Mushroom
The NIKE AIR MAX 95 LX updates the classic 95 model with premium materials and an unusual array of colours. Let’s take a closer look at one of the more memorable colourways we’ve seen this season….
A modern update on the original mid-’90s design, this latest edition of the Nike Air Max 95 offers the same superior construction and plush cushioning that turned the original 95 into an icon. Featuring a supportive mesh upper with deluxe suede and synthetic pony hair overlays, the Max Air units in the heel and forefoot provide lightweight impact protection, with the rubber outsole providing durable traction underfoot. Since the original shoe released, we’ve seen an incredible number of colourways on the 95 – perhaps almost as many as we’ve seen on the Air Max 90 or Air Max Plus – but it’s still amazing just how much the appearance of this model can change with just a couple of careful applications of colour. This newest combination, entitled Smoky Blue, Mushroom and Particle Pink really shows off the use of materials to full effect. Technically, this is a Women’s release, but as it’s currently available in a good size run, we think this release is open to everyone, regardless of gender. The more unusual colour combinations, such as this one, tend to be the ones we most often regret not picking up when they first drop: we’d strongly advise grabbing your pair before these ones disappear into the ether…
