Diadora have reached mammoth 70 years in operation and to celebrate the occasion, the Italian sportswear giant will be releasing a spate of 12 exclusive collaborations with brands and retailers they hold rapport with. First up they throw an absolute curveball, deviating from their usual retro runners to present a limited edition mountain boot with none other than Diemme. Handmade in Northeastern Italy, the label prides itself on cutting-edge performance and top-tier production, and this collaborative spin on the Tonale mod. 1948 is no exception.
The hard-wearing leather boot works a full-grain cow leather upper paired with ultra-soft calfskin detailing to the collar and shoe lining. An added anatomical latex instep and Vibram sole make for unbeatable comfort and support, with vibrant red laces adding some aesthetic zing. Pair with a ridiculously expensive “big coat” and you’ll be winterproof in no time…
