The NIKE ADAPT AUTO MAX continues Nike’s adaptive lacing system in a pared-down format that should appeal to fans of Nike’s more innovative basketball designs from recent years.
Nike FitAdapt technology is an intelligent system that updates and evolves – perhaps the closest thing we’ve seen to a ‘living shoe’. Designed to work in any situation, the Nike FitAdapt lacing system is operated from a midfoot motor and controlled by a multi-faceted Nike Adapt app. With this app, a number of preset fit recommendations are on offer, giving a custom solution for all foot types and activities. Launching with the Nike Adapt BB and following with the Nike Adapt BB 2.0, this is the newest member of the self-lacing clique: welcome to the Nike Adapt Auto Max.
The tech inside is undeniably advanced, but the shell is almost deceptive in its styling. The one-piece neoprene construction has been accented by extruded and contoured elements which conceal the mechanics of the lacing system, along with a rigid toe guard and heel counter, Auto Max tongue branding and a rubber outsole finish the package off in style.
The NIKE ADAPT AUTO MAX is due to release on SATURDAY 30 MAY: hit the banner below for stockist information.
