Converse and Carhartt’s next collaboration keeps the planet in mind with an addition to the Renew line, which seeks to upcycle existing materials to create something new. For this meeting of minds, UK vintage retailer Beyond Retro sourced one thousand pre-owned canvas Carhartt work jackets, trousers and overalls which were then sorted into three colour ranges and cut up to create individual Chuck 70 shoe panels. The result is a tri-panel shoe in a black, navy and brown construction, finished with a clean black and white midsole and the Chuck 70’s trademark ankle patches.
