Joe Freshgoods and New Balance are cooking up another gem for 2025, and this time, it’s a fresh take on the 992 silhouette. After the success of their 2020 ‘No Emotions Are Emotions’ collab, they’re back with the 992 ‘Aged Well’.

The buzz around this release started in the beginning of 2025, with some cheeky teasers popping up. Joe hinted at the collab in his ‘A Prom to Paris’ campaign, where a car featured a licence plate reading ‘992 2025.’ Then, an early pair mysteriously appeared on eBay, listed for a whopping $600. Now, with the official release ahead, the excitement is real.

A Closer Look at the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992 ‘Aged Well’…

The ‘Aged Well’ colourway is basically a mellowed-out version of the 2020 release, featuring a mix of pastel and earthy tones. The upper combines grey mesh with overlays of dusty pink, tan, and clay red suede, while brown leather accents on the tongue and heel add a classy touch. And of course, the ‘JFG’ branding on the tongue and heel seals the deal.

Comfort hasn’t been overlooked either. As part of New Balance’s ‘Made in USA’ line, you can expect top-notch quality and all-day wearability thanks to the ABZORB cushioning. Add a themed pink box with co-branding, and you’ve got a collector’s dream.
