The COPSON x NEW BALANCE 247 looks set to be one of the summer shoes of 2018. The technicians at New Balance have linked up with the sorcerers at COPSON to create a shoe that says that summer is certainly on it’s way.
Despite its short time in the market, the NB 247 has already established itself as a necessary piece of the footwear wardrobe. Its synthetic mesh toebox, neoprene sock construction and lightweight midsole offers the ideal balance between a technical performance look and everyday leisure feel. The new knitted 247 has been utilised by COPSON, who have taken the engineered woven upper and dipped it in a delectable cannoli cream colourway. This is complemented with premium leather foxing rendered in a subtle light grey and a classic gum REVlite sole for a clean and alluring finish. The 247 is a versatile member of the NB family, well suited to a number of activities, but with COPSON’s clever choice of colours we think we’ll be wearing this one down to the beach bar.
As a special creative addition, the project also finds COPSON releasing their second short film with director Romano Pizzichini. Shot on location in Ibiza, ‘Notes From An Island’ shows the summer-hazed aesthetic of the collaboration to full effect. Villads Larsen makes a return as the film’s lead character, alongside Breanna Box, New Balance skate team member Cam Barr, and Ashden Oke.
