The CONVERSE ONE STAR PERFORATED LEATHER adds a little extra bang for the buck in the style stakes…
Known for its effortlessly timeless style, the One Star was first introduced by Converse in 1974. A distinguished basketball-inspired model, it featured a Chuck-like midsole and single star branding to both the lateral and medial side. Only on the shelves for a year, the silhouette took a backseat before returning as a skate staple in the mid-90s.
Undergoing somewhat of a resurgence once more, we’ve seen the One Star at the centre of various collaborations in the past months, as well as being released in an array of tonal suede colourways. Evolving the model a little further, Converse unveil the new Perforated Leather range across the style, updating its uppers with a perforated matte leather fabrication, which offers the wearer an increasingly breathable fit.
Available in either black, casino red, or white – the shoe retains its iconic design with a clean white vulcanised rubber outsole and instantly recognisable star design, boasting an Ortholite® insole to add a little extra bang for the buck in the comfort stakes.
