The ASICS GEL LYTE III CAMO PACK updates the β90s silhouette with tiger and desert camouflage print, captured in this on-foot shot by OVERKILL.
Designed by Shingeyuki Mitsui, the Gel Lyte III was a groundbreaking release when it first hit the shelves around the turn of the β90s. Rolling out the intuitive split tongue detailing, the handy design quirk abolished the age-old problem of the trainer’s tongue slipping down into the side of the shoe.
Now a go-to archive model for retro reiterations, ASICS move towards the fall winter mindset with the Camo Pack, decking the timeless silhouette out in two different shades. The first in the duo utilises a black mesh base with corresponding suede overlays in charcoal and black. A green and black tiger camo print takes to the heel collar and underneath the brandβs iconic overlaid branding before the shoe is completed with a fresh white midsole featuring a speckled unit and orange accenting. The second offering takes on a desert inspired palette, with terracotta and tan complemented by grey branding overlays and desert camo. Burnt orange accents feature throughout, with a tan speckled unit finishing the midsole.
Berlin based retailer OVERKILL captured both the black and desert models up close and personal in this on-foot shoot, which is sure to pique interests on a purchase…
