As many expected from his steady stream of adidas collaborations, Bad Bunny is officially launching the Gazelle ‘City Series’. A thoughtful reimagining of the classic Gazelle silhouette. This latest project translates Puerto Rican identity into colour, texture, and storytelling, offering three distinct tributes to the island’s most cherished locations.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle City Series truly transmits a narrative, with each pair capturing the essence of a different place on the island.
First up is ‘El Yunque’, in a rich forest green. This pair honours El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. With its earthy tones and natural textures, it pays homage to the island’s wild beauty and connection to nature.
Next, the ‘Santurce’ arrives in vivid orange. It channels the cultural heartbeat of Puerto Rico’s vibrant neighbourhood known for its music, art, and creative energy.
Lastly, there’s ‘Cabo Rojo’, the most impressive out of the three. Drenched in pink, it draws inspiration from the salt flats of the region, known for their rosy waters and ecological significance. The campaign is equally impactful, featuring Puerto Rican elders, the guardians of the island’s memory, resilience, and cultural pride.
