The ADIDAS ORIGINALS X NIGO CITY MARATHON PT PACK brings back a model that we haven’t seen for a while in two different colourways.
On the first pair, a bright red mesh base is overlaid by with blue suede overlays which feature perforations at the toe. Hits of white on the three stripes, heel panel and lining add some contrast to this pretty bright colourway. The other pair takes a more subdued route with grey overlaying a very light blue base with matching hits of white. The midsoles tie in nicely with the uppers and feature that ever-so-iconic netting. If you’re wondering why the shoes have the number 25 on the heel, this is because in Japanese the number two is NI and five is GO, so technically this spells out NIGO… Now that’s a great example of clever and subtle branding!
