The ADIDAS ORIGINALS = PHARRELL WILLIAMS TENNIS HU PART II continues Pharrell’s collaboration with adidas Originals, presenting four new iterations of his signature Tennis Hu silhouette in a collection of bright, seasonal palettes.
At first glance, the Tennis Hu looks familiar: the simple silhouette borrows enough style elements from the adidas history books to compliment the archives. Eeach shoe in this latest release features a lightweight Primeknit upper sat on top of an EVA waffle-textured midsole, cleverly accented with branded details on the tongue and heel tab. Finishing touches include contrasting details along the collar and the shoe’s unique minimalist lacing system. The new color palettes add a layer of visual texture to the Tennis Hu’s otherwise understated design.
Two iterations of the Tennis Hu feature multicolour Primeknit yarn, with the shoe’s branded details rendered in a premium suede, whilst the two other options mix colour palettes reminiscent of late ’80s performance footwear design with vibrant marbled soles. These intriguing colourways have turned the Tennis Hu into a psychedelic summer shoe that stands out from the crowd.
