Returning from the depths of the adidas skate vault, we’ve got our eyes fixed on the cool, calm and collected adidas Originals Adimatic sneaker. Presented in a handful of subtly-washed colourways, we’re certain that this authentic reimagining is due to be a hit this summer.
Every little detail perfectly captures the steeze of 90s nostalgia, from the zigzag platform midsole to a chunky rendition of the classic 3-Stripes branding. Although the effortless edge surrounding the model remains intact, adidas have made subtle innovations that elevate the design and environmental impact. Take the EVA midsole, padded low collar and reinforced uppers for example. Through adidas’ conscious choice to opt for eco-friendly textile, this model will make you look AND feel great simultaneously.
A textured suede dominates the main body of the silhouette, flooded by colourways ‘Pantone’ and ‘Crystal White’. But adidas haven’t stopped there, with a third colourway on the way titled ‘Gum’, resembling a dusty salmon hue. The shoe features the adidas branding embossed into the sole, just below an embroidered logo on the heel.
