The NIKE AIR KUKINI made its debut as part of the famed Nike Alpha Project, a forward-thinking line from Nike which first released at the cusp of the new millennium. Designed by Air Max Plus mastermind Sean McDowell, the Kukini offered something new and somewhat futuristic at the time with its laceless construction and alien caging. Now pure oozing in ‘00s aesthetics, Stussy dipped their toe into the Kukini pool with a tweaked Spiridon hybrid back in 2020, but it’s high time we got a return of the original and this biscuity cream and grey option could be just that. The Alpha Project gets a little shout out with its trademark five dots stamped on the heels…
