The Vans Vault x FDMTL Collection Brings Japanese Craftsmanship to Cali Surf Culture
The VANS VAULT X FDMTL COLLECTION applies traditional Japanese craftsmanship to iconic Cali-skate silhouettes. Having worked together on a host of signature Vans styles since their first transpacific link-up in 2016, these LX versions of the OG Classic Slip-On, OG Authentic, and OG Sk8-Hi display distressed uppers revealing underneath boro patchworks that have been derived from crafted sashiko stitching. Each pair features deep indigo accents across the upper, midsoles and laces, capped off by gum rubber outsoles and a matching indigo ‘Vamp’ at the heel. A special co-branded box completes the collaboration in appropriate style.
