The FIFA World Cup™ 2026 is upon us! Kicking off on the 11th of June, 2026, held in Mexico, Canada, and the United States, the biggest stage for football is almost here, and adidas therefore presents their selection for the official away kits.
For the first time in a staggering thirty-six years, the legendary Trefoil is officially back on the FIFA World Cup™ stage, and honestly, it’s about time, isn’t it? We haven’t seen that iconic mark of “Originality” at a tournament since the early 90s, but here it is, sitting pretty on the right chest of the 2026 federation away jerseys.
Let’s take a closer look!

The adidas FIFA World Cup™ away kits collection is a massive “reimagined nostalgia” exercise covering twenty-five partner federations, including thirteen nations who’ve already booked their spot for the tournament. Think 90s aesthetics, geometric patterns, and those stylised vertical lines that pay homage to each country’s unique DNA.
Whether it’s the tailored, suit-inspired weave of the Italy kit or the emotional one for the kit nerds, this marks the final Adidas design for the German national team after a legendary seventy-year partnership. All in all, the whole collection is built to live on the streets just as much as on the pitch. From Scotland and Ireland to Wales, Spain, Jamaica, and so on! Just head over to adidas to check out all the nations, all their kits, and other gear!
We think: the Three Stripes have gone all out because football culture nowadays is a massive melting pot of subcultures.
But don’t let the retro looks fool you into thinking it’s old-school tech, because these kits are built for the future with the techniques they are bringing.

With the 2026 World Cup spread across the wildly different climates of Mexico, Canada, and the United States, adidas has kitted the players out with some serious wizardry. We’re talking body-mapped, 3D-engineered mechanical stretch fabrics and the latest CLIMACOOL+ technology to make sure nobody’s soaking wet five minutes after kick-off.
They’ve also used lightweight jacquard fabric and herringbone-stitched Three Stripes on the shoulders, which apparently gives you maximum freedom of movement when the pressure is boiling over.
If you want to look the part while supporting your lot, the adidas FIFA World Cup 2026™ away kits are officially up for grabs from 20 March 2026, over at adidas.com and some other retailers.
