Giving us hits across the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 6 and his very own Jumpman Jack model, the rapper extraordinaire knows a thing or two about creating kicks. And now, turning his attention to an entirely new sector of the Swoosh, Nike Sportswear, Scott tackles the Zoom Field Jaxx in an unmissable hue. Combining a retro essence with a streamlined construction, this ‘Limelight’ offering is set to land December 2024 – so let’s take a look at the mock-ups so far!
A Closer Look at the Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx ‘Limelight’ (HQ3072-300)…
Drawing inspiration from Nike’s iconic ‘90s lineage, specifically the Nike Land Shark and Zoom Spiridon, the Zoom Field Jaxx blends legacy with contemporary tech. Adopting a name that makes perfect sense, a ‘Limelight’ hue floods the midfoot, outer and suede toebox, injecting a vibrant lime persona into the experimental exterior. Contrasting the tennis ball green, black segments within the midsole, Swoosh, insole and tongue help to ground the silhouette, illuminated once more with bright white hits.
A transparent TPU and leather strap elegantly crisscrosses the midfoot, delivering both an eye-catching visual element and a secure, supportive fit. Optimising comfort whilst upholding the stylish appeal, a plush black mesh adopts the collar. Rounding off the design, the Cactus Jack logo proudly sits on the heel; a signature touch synonymous with Travis Scott’s creative mind.
Due to release during DECEMBER 2024, the Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx ‘Limelight’ (HQ3072-300) will arrive at NIKE & SELECT RETAILERS.
