KEEN reimagines outdoor style with their new UNEEK Loafer WK. As we’ve come to expect and love, the brand has never been shy about bending the rules of outdoor footwear, and its latest drop pushes that idea into new territory.
The UNEEK Loafer WK takes the Portland label’s cult corded sneaker DNA and flips it into something they’re calling “outdoor formal”, a slip-on built for city life that still nods to its roots.

Ever since their Newport sandal hit shelves in 2003, family-owned KEEN has been known for disrupting outdoor categories. Now, almost two decades on, the brand is still proving that function doesn’t have to come at the expense of form.
The UNEEK Loafer’s silhouette strips back the original UNEEK construction, replacing the sporty open-air look with a cleaner, loafer-inspired shape. Woven leather cords on the upper nod subtly to the past, paired with a slim profile and gold KEEN logo.
Underfoot, KEEN’s CURVE tooling and high-rebound foam midsole ensure comfort and stability, while a low-profile outsole provides grip without compromising the refined aesthetic.
The design also features premium materials: ethically sourced leather, hand-stitched detailing, and eco-friendly odor protection that reflects KEEN’s long-standing commitment to sustainability. Each pair of the new loafer is also individually numbered.
KEEN’s Director of Product Management, Carlie Satchwell, explains that the idea came from observing fans moving seamlessly between work, social settings, and outdoor life without changing shoes. The UNEEK Loafer WK is designed to follow that rhythm, bridging lifestyle and performance while keeping craftsmanship at the forefront.
