The collaboration between Travis Scott and Jordan Brand has shaken up the sneaker world more than once. Now, a truly exclusive version of the beloved ‘Reverse Mocha’ colourway has surfaced — a Turf edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low.
This unique silhouette was first spotted during the HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic, a softball event organised by Travis’ Cactus Jack Foundation last year. The Air Jordan 1 Low Turf ‘Reverse Mocha’ features a modified sole inspired by the Zoom Trout 3 — a model originally designed for the sport.
The pair in question appeared in the collection of sneaker collector Simon Voltaire Tan (@depeche23mode). The sneakers, in a US size 10, are being offered for $20,000. Whether they’ll ever actually be worn at that price point is anyone’s guess.
Instead of the familiar ‘University Red’ details seen on previous Travis Scott releases, this pair features striking ‘Light Curry’ accents — a subtle nod to the Houston Astros.
