Following a reemergence in popularity, the Nike Shox TL Black/Grey is arriving just in time for the A/W season. Dressed in a sleek and stealthy exterior, this streamlined model comes after the many legendary colourways that have appeared over the last few years. From Skepta’s Shox in 2019, to more recent (and abstract) endeavours with Martine Rose, the Shox silhouette has progressively become a hot topic of conversation.
Initially released in the year 2000, the Nike Shox wowed audiences with its innovative pillar construction and unique design technology. Following the OG Nike Shox R4, Nike continued to release iterations such as the Shox TL, Shox TL Nova and Shox Ride 2, specifically crafted for a killer collaboration with Supreme.
The Nike Shox TL Black/Grey arrives in a deliciously simple colour palette of black and grey. The base flaunts a black mesh composition, adorned with gradient TPU caging that gives the impression of a highly shiny exterior. Leather detailing on the heel and tongue is finished with a glossy sheen, reminiscent of the futuristic identity that the model was first recognised for. Grey accents only elevate the bravado that this iteration boasts so flawlessly, drawing attention to the classic pillar construction that replaces the midsole. The Swoosh, eyelets and toe box showcase a silver grey hue, whilst tongue and insole branding contrast the palette with a zesty lemon yellow.
