The Nike Air Max Sunder is Going For (Metallic) Gold!
After plenty of noise surrounding the silhouette as of late, as well as the recent ‘Canyon Gold’ release, the Sunder heat continues with the Nike Air Max Sunder ‘Metallic Gold’.
Despite the nostalgic heritage of this release, this iteration delivers a large helping of 2000s finesse, which (as we already know) is a hit with younger sneaker enthusiasts. Could we be witnessing the second wave of cult Sunder success? It’s very possible.
A Closer Look at the Nike Air Max Sunder ‘Metallic Gold’ (HJ4130-002)…
Presenting a refined palette that utilises a mixture of Black and ‘Metallic Gold’ for an impactful persona – this iteration is the perfect blend of minimalism and maximalism. Contrasting both hues across the exterior’s composition, the enlarged mudguard adopts a regal shiny textile, layered over the conventional neoprene-resembling fabric. Garnished with recognisable perforated segments, Black continues into the outer, allowing the medal-like shade to really stand-out.
Elsewhere, the silhouette utilises the same recognisable Sunder structure that we know and love, bringing it right back to its OG 1999 roots.
Although a release date is still not set in stone, you can expect the ‘Metallic Gold’ (HJ4130-002) to arrive during the latter part of 2024.
