Hitting the ground running with a plethora of dynamic collaborations, we introduce yet another banger, in the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R.
The collaborative design studio, JJJJound is no stranger to delivering a streamlined sneaker, championing timeless flair. After all, the proof is in the pudding. And by the pudding, we mean every JJJJound x New Balance release thus far. Beautifully neutral iterations of the 991 and 990v3 have been met to a very warm welcome from sneaker connoisseurs, creating space for a new successor to take the throne. Make way for the newest addition of the duo’s roster, landing as the alliance’s second release of the year, we have a feeling this one is about to do bits this winter.
When taking a closer look at the new arrival, we immediately notice the cool blue palette, adorned with stealthy pops of silver throughout the upper. Utilising the nostalgic yet contemporary essence of the 2002R, the iteration features premium suede atop a grey mesh base. JJJJound’s branding sits proudly within the tongue and heel, communicated via a stealthy emblem. Lastly, an N-Ergy sole unit blends a pristine white hue against ivory hits, wrapping up this elegantly dynamic sneaker.
