The STEPNEY WORKERS CLUB X GOODHOOD X JOY DIVISION x DELLOW forms an integral part within a special capsule collection commemorating the 40th anniversary of Joy Division’s iconic ‘Unknown Pleasures’ album.
The team at Goodhood have joined forces with S.W.C. and Peter Saville – the celebrated art director and graphic designer, renowned for the many record sleeves he’s designed – to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Joy Division‘s album ‘Unknown Pleasures’. The SWP Dellow model has been chosen for the footwear element within the collection, which also features a concise range of apparel, homeware and lifestyle goods. Featuring a smart deconstructed upper, premium cushioned flexible sole and a practical and durable outsole for reliable grip underfoot, the SWC Dellow was an inspired choice. Cotton drill canvas has been used for the uppers, which is off-set by high-wall foxing on the sides for extra style points. Graphic elements from the re-released album and the album’s title itself are featured on the heel tabs and midsole and to round things off in exemplary fashion, there’s an understated but classy shoebox to package everything together.
