We’ve officially hopped on the podcast wave! Introducing The Drop Date Podcast, hosted by long-time sneaker connoisseurs Elsey and Luke. Every Tuesday they’ll be discussing our Top Drops of the Week followed by personally favoured general releases. On this week’s agenda, Elsey and Luke get stuck into the hottest drops, featuring the Nike Air Max 1 ‘87 WMNS ‘Aura’, AM25 Plus ‘25th Anniversary’, Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Light Bone’, AJ5 ‘Midnight Navy’, AJ11 Retro ‘Neapolitan’ and Off-White x Air Force 1 Mid ‘Varsity Maize’. As well as a variety of heat from the Swoosh, the duo also discuss the autumn-coded Wales Bonner x adidas Samba capsule, arriving in perfect timing to keep the Bonner x Three-Stripes fire burning throughout the colder seasons.
On the sneaker news front this week, we’ve caught word of the Nike SB Tightboot, Air Max Plus Drift, and Air Max 1 Valentine’s Day. Additionally, the alliance dive into the Kith x New Balance 990v6, which pays homage to none other than New York City.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Drop Date Podcast without selecting a GR of the Week. There’s a common theme with both of our hosts selections this week, categorised by two distinctive elements. New Balance runners, and the colour green. Luke opts for the trail-inspired NB 610v1, whilst Elsey goes for the moss-resembling NB 550.
