The 8ON8 x asics Gel-Kayano 14 Pack is Dropping Very Soon
Debuting their partnership in and amongst the Chinese label’s impressive RTW Spring 2024 Showcase, 8ON8 and asics mean serious business in their upcoming Gel-Kayano 14 Pack.
Brought into fruition by Central Saint Martins alumni, Li Gong, the brand 8ON8 utilises the concept of retro-futurism through the lens of his own perspective. Incorporating sportswear influences throughout his collection, his global collaboration with asics is spot-on, with the alliance’s first endeavour focussing on the popular Gel-Kayano 14 silhouette. Flooded with even more technical steez than the model already provides, their debut Pack perfectly encapsulates the essence of both brands within two modern palettes.
A Closer Look at the 8ON8 x asics Gel-Kayano 14 Pack…
Seamlessly depicting the mutual innovation shared by both collaborators, both colourways adopt slightly different colour schemes. Expressing duality that allows for a versatile choice as well as a more fashion-forward option, the Pack paints the Gel-Kayano 14 in both black and navy. Keeping things more visually lighthearted, the navy offering boasts hits of bright pink across detailing, whilst the black counterpart opts for stealthy green accents.
Honouring the progressive collaboration, insole co-branding stands proudly, as well as 80N8’s iconography on the medial sidewall and the classic ‘a’ tongue embellishment . As always, the model maintains its exceptional GEL technology cushioning and second-to-none craftsmanship. A very strong start to a very exciting collaborative line!
