Step into the Multiverse! adidas & Marvel Team Up for Doctor Strange Pack
Something truly magical is on the horizon! Marvel has joined forces with adidas to unleash a collection inspired by Doctor Strange, and it’s exclusively available at size?. If you’re as much into sneakers as you are into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this one’s a no-brainer.
The pack features three adidas models: the Gazelle Indoor, Handball Spezial, and New York, each uniquely linked to the films. The entire collection pays homage to the mystical journey of Doctor Stephen Strange, played brilliantly by Benedict Cumberbatch, as he navigates the multiverse and battles dark forces.
A Closer Look at the Marvel x adidas Doctor Strange Trilogy Pack…
Kicking things off, the Gazelle Indoor takes inspiration from the London Sanctum, which appears prominently in both Doctor Strange and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This sneaker features a rich green suede upper that mirrors the enchanting aura of the Sanctum, alongside sleek silver Three Stripes that reflect the architectural elements of the mystical hideaway.
Next up is the Handball Spezial, which channels the Hong Kong Sanctum. Also seen in Doctor Strange and briefly in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This model sports a stunning dark blue suede upper, complemented by soft pink accents that evoke the magical energy of the Sanctum. Remember when Strange and Wong team up to face the terrifying demon, Shuma-Gorath?
Last but not least, we have the New York model, which represents the most iconic Sanctum – 177A Bleecker Street, the setting for many of Strange’s battles, including those against the powerful Dormammu in the Dark Dimension. With a gorgeous golden brown mesh base and vibrant yellow suede accents, this sneaker truly captures the essence of Doctor Strange’s home turf.
The insoles are adorned with psychedelic graphics created by Hong Kong artist Cassidy Ontung. Taking you straight into the mind-bending landscapes seen throughout the films. This collection was unveiled just in time for New York Comic Con, which kicks off on October 17th. While we’re still waiting for the official release date, the drop is set for OCTOBER 2024 at size?.
