RUN BOROUGHS lace up and make their way a little further out of town to explore the sprawling borough of Haringey…

The last time we checked in with Run The Boroughs they were taking in the sights and sounds of Westminster, but their most recent run saw the tight-knit running crew move a little further out of the city and into the less crowded confines of Haringey. A behemoth borough that stretches from north to east London: it’s an urban sprawl that has everything from football clubs and parks to shopping centres and some of the best Turkish food the city has to offer on Green Lanes.

As usual, some of the club’s local members are placed at the forefront for this explorative editorial, with the Haringey edition welcoming Tara, Ryan, and The Drop Date’s very own Ben to share their experiences of the area. Fitness enthusiast Tara and Hackney ex-pat Ben both see the borough as a hidden gem with many open green areas to escape in, whilst Tottenham native Ryan finds it the perfect spot to pursue his professional interests in mixed martial arts, also working as a bouldering instructor at the area’s Stronghold Climbing Centre. Check the images below and stay tuned for more from Run The Boroughs.
