Reebok Pump Izarre – Available Now
The REEBOK PUMP IZARRE is the newest silhouette in the Pump-fitted lineup, inspired by the OG InstaPump Fury.
This latest addition to the Reebok Pump portfolio comes in an all-black colourway and has the familiar slip-on construction with removable Ortholite foam sockliner, Pump exoskeleton and ‘bladder’. The upper is constructed from neoprene, a breathable air mesh upper with molded foam panels, a TPU heel clip, and a lightweight carbonated foam midsole. What makes this drop especially eye catching is that the midsole is clad in a marble graphic, which is repeated on the outsole. The Pump Izarre will also be available in a white women’s version, which takes the marble graphic and splashes it all over the upper rather than confining it to the midsole. More than a quarter century old, the InstaPump Fury took its inspiration from a ski boot designed by the Italian athletic wear company, Ellesse, which had a pumping mechanism. It took the designer, Steven Smith, a few years to take that idea and put it into a shoe that wasn’t too cumbersome or avant garde, eventually ushering in the InstaPump Fury we all know and love today.
