Update September 23, 2025 – The Nike x Patta collaboration is officially here, and the release is taking a city-by-city approach. Each region will get its own Air Max DN8 colorway, paired with exclusive two-day pop-up activations in collaboration with local creative partners.
Here’s when and where you can get your hands on each drop:
The Air Max DN8 takes the spotlight in Patta’s latest collaboration, featuring a patent leather upper, vintage yellowed Air units, 3M-reflective laces, and a brushed metallic carabiner. Patta branding appears subtly on the tongue, sockliner, and within the Air units.
The campaign for this release highlights the vibrant energy of local creatives, from artists to designers and musicians, in Los Angeles, Marseille, and Seoul. Photographers Shaniqwa Jarvis and Ilyes Griyeb captured these moments, emphasizing both individuality and community.
Anchored in the theme of connection, Patta focuses on bringing people together. The campaign celebrates local culture while reflecting the broader ties of the diaspora, in line with Patta’s core value: ‘Get Familiar’.

Original post July, 2025 – They’re back. Just weeks after dropping the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Wave’ in four distinct colorways, Patta and Nike are already gearing up for their next collaboration — and this time, it’s a fresh take on the Air Max Dn8.
Unlike the previous release, this new project steps away from the ‘wave’ theme, introducing a sleek reinterpretation of a silhouette that first hit the market in 2024 as the successor to the Air Max Dn.
Co-founder Edson Sabajo took to Instagram to reveal a sneak peek of the collaboration, highlighting some key updates that elevate the sneaker’s look and feel. Most notably, the traditional mesh toebox has been swapped out for glossy patent leather, immediately lending the shoe a more premium and polished appearance.
In addition to the patent leather toe, the sneaker features a leather panel on the toe box adorned with subtle perforations, adding both texture and breathability. White cut-out details run along the midfoot, perfectly complementing the sculpted, organic lines of the midsole and creating a harmonious visual flow. Dark blue eyelets introduce a gentle pop of colour, contrasting elegantly with the darker tones.
A standout detail is the silver s-biner clipped across the midfoot, giving the sneaker a functional, outdoor-inspired edge rarely seen in typical Air Max releases. On the tongue, Patta’s signature script logo sits just above the iconic Nike Air Max branding, marking the collaboration unmistakably.
While the Air Max Dn8 might feel somewhat unconventional next to classics like the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90, Patta’s involvement promises to bring fresh attention and excitement to this newer silhouette. The brand’s ability to blend streetwear sensibilities with thoughtful design tweaks makes this collaboration one to watch.
The Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 release is taking a city-by-city approach. Each region will get its own Air Max DN8 colorway, paired with exclusive two-day pop-up activations in collaboration with local creative partners. Europe will get the Black Colorway, dropping October 10 exclusively at Patta and October 15 via SNKRS EU.
