It is official. Nike and Patta continue their long-standing partnership with ‘The New Wave’, a bold new chapter celebrating the cultural legacy of the Nike Air Max 90. This latest drop features the well-known wave-shaped mudguard made famous in earlier Patta x Nike Air Max 1 collaborations.
Drawing from two decades of shared heritage, the capsule also includes an extended collection of track-inspired apparel and accessories. Classic silhouettes are reimagined with luxe materials, clean co-branding, and refined detailing.
As ever, Patta’s message remains clear: Patta Got Love for All.
Music lies at the heart of this campaign. Directed by Belgian-Congolese artist Baloji and captured by photographer Justin French, the visuals dive into a surreal world imagined within the Air Max 90’s air unit. Featuring rich symbolism and futuristic aesthetics, the project stars three artists who embody The New Wave’s spirit: hit-making US producer BNYX, UK rapper BXKS, and Nigerian genre-defier Odumodublvck, who teased the first colourway a few weeks back.
For Patta, this release is more than just fashion—it’s a reflection of the brand’s enduring philosophy.

The Wave symbolises that duality; waves roll in and roll back. Patta pushes out big statements, but at the same time gives back energy for others to grow”, the Dutch brand said in a statement.
As a nod to their musical roots, the collection includes a limited-edition vinyl record featuring exclusive tracks from the campaign. Available only at Patta Chapter stores, the vinyl comes as a gift with any purchase of a tracksuit or a pair of Air Max 90s.
Early access to the tracksuits and tees will be available exclusively through the Patta app on 18 June 2025. The first drop launches on June 20, 2025, at pattaxnike.com and in Patta Chapter stores in Amsterdam, London, Milan, and Lagos. The second drop is set for 27 June 2025.
