The NIKE ZOOM FLY SP LONDON pays homage to the UK’s capital city with a deluxe earth-toned colourway of the lightweight running shoe.
The Zoom Fly SP premiered back in 2017, quickly finding fans in both the running world and in the street culture scene, thanks to its lightweight construction and smart, clean colourways. It’s no surprise that the Zoom Fly SP has been chosen as a canvas for collaborations such as Virgil Abloh’s ‘The Ten’ and Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER brand. The unusual design tears up the rulebook, offering a sleek, aerodynamic shape that works perfectly for everyday wear – but don’t be fooled into thinking this is a basic shoe. The Flywire technology provides midfoot lockdown and minimises energy loss for an extra boost, giving the wearer unparalleled comfort and cushioning.
This special city-themed edition looks to London’s Buckingham Palace for its colour inspiration: the translucent Wolf Grey TPE upper uses a smart tone of Desert Ore on the midfoot underlays, lace loops and inner lining for a smart contrasting accent. Black racing stripes and ‘LDN’ branding add some extra depth to the layered design, with ‘There Is No Finish Line’, a Nike tagline from the late 1970s, featured on the inner sole. The rose gold midsole and complimentary silver TPU plate complete finish this special Fly SP in truly regal fashion.
