The NIKE X SUPREME AIR BAKIN makes way for another classic Swoosh basketball bring back. Introduced in 1997 and a court staple for five-time NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway, the shoe had its fair share of scandal. The back heels sported embroidered ‘Air’ branding in a flame-like script, that controversially looked very similar to the Arabic script for ‘Allah’. With that in mind, Supreme’s spin on the late ‘90s classic features ‘NYC’ in the same fiery font, but hopefully the only heat around this one will be on the resell side of things… Landing in black with gradient overlays or fresh tonal grey, they also feature Supreme branding webbing loops at the heel and co-branded sockliners in the brand’s red trademark box logo.
The NIKE X SUPREME AIR BAKIN is due to release on THURSDAY 2 MARCH: follow the banner below to shop the latest from NIKE ahead of the drop.
