The NIKE WMNS AIR HUARACHE RUN MID IRIDESCENT sees the popular model sport fresh updates that make it much more suitable for colder weather.
Back when it debuted in 1991, the NIKE AIR HUARACHE introduced out-of-the-box thinking when it came to trainer design. Its combination of exoskeleton and neoprene sockliner offered a comfortable and secure fit, whilst still remaining lightweight and breathable for use in the summer. This latest evolution retains some of the original design elements, but instead tailors the shoe to colder weather. The main changes include an increased ankle height, water-repellent moulded leather uppers, a shrouded exoskeleton with a waterproof zipper, a gusseted tongue and a sticky rubber outsole. What really makes this iteration stand out though is the light reactive iridescent finish applied to the upper. To tone down things down a little, the colourway is finished off with black detailing throughout, which continues onto the midsole and outsole. This is definitely a bold look, but at least it will bring some colour to the grey days of winter.
