The NIKE VANDAL HIGH SUPREME DOC BROWN follows the recent retro of the Silver OG edition in a new run of this classic ’80s high top.
A classic design, in every sense of the word, the Nike Vandal has been a favourite for many since the 1980s. The increased collar height, stability strap, canvas upper, and pivot-point outsole made it one of the top basketball sneakers of the era, putting it alongside the Nike Dunk High, Nike Terminator High and Nike Air Force 1 in the hall of fame. Inspired by the kicks worn by Doc Brown in ‘Back to the Future’, the shoe sees an orange canvas material used for the upper, officially titled Bright Ceramic. White is used on the collar strap for extra contrast, matching the tongue and around the Swoosh on the sides. It’s bright and eyecatching, just as the original Silver edition was. We’re unsure how it handles at 88mph, but in the words of Doc Brown himself, this Vandal is ‘some serious sh!t’.
