The NIKE TIMELESS PACK does a design trade-off between iconic Swoosh silhouettes. First up is the Peter Moore-designed Dunk Low which translates the Zoom Vomero 5’s distinct design language onto its ‘80s basketball construction. Presented in a mix of light grey suede and synthetic panels, there’s overlaid ribbing down the sides and touches of Volt and aqua blue accents to elevate it. The Vomero 5 takes cues from the Dunk Low Panda with exaggerated leather panels on the toebox adding a larger-than-life feel. A custom pocket watch graphic appears on the sockliners of both, as well as a split-effect Nike branding pulled from both model’s on the tongue tabs.
Second up, the Air Max 1 gets a taste of Bruce Kilgore’s original Air Force 1 High from 1982. Its OG white and grey colourway is carried onto Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max icon released only five years later, adding a midfoot strap reminiscent of the AF1 High’s one placed a little higher. The midsoles and leather panel edges are yellowed for an aged effect with pocket watch graphics on the sockliners connoting the “timeless” theme. No drop dates revealed as of yet but stay tuned for updates…
