The NIKE CRATER IMPACT is very much the opposite of what you might have once expected when you heard the words ‘recycled’ and ‘sneakers’ being thrown around. Gone are the days of weird, unwearable bamboo midsoles and the obvious hemp uppers. The Crater Impact is much more in line with the more technical members of the Nike line-up, with straight-edged overlays, which were chosen for construction efficiency and the new Lifted Crater midsole formed from leftovers on the cutting-room floor. Whilst the tech is good, the styling is nothing to be dismissed either, with its track-inspired silhouette that uses a low-cut collar for comfort.
