The upcoming release boasts an all-black leather upper with white accents on the Swoosh logo, heel tab, and tongue branding. The shoes sit atop a white midsole, which adds an extra pop to the design. One of the earliest models from sportswear dream team Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, the Nike Cortez was initially released in 1972 and has since become a staple in sneaker culture. Originally designed as a running shoe, the Cortez quickly gained popularity in the fashion world, becoming a symbol of the 1970s before eventually transitioning into a bonafide streetwear essential.
