Long believed to have been inspired by Japan’s high-speed Bullet trains, it eventually transpired that the real spark of inspiration came from studying mountain bikes. With its multiple contours and curves that give the shoe a true essence of speed, the 97 is best known for its original ‘Silver Bullet’ incarnation but this Off Noir drop treads a more tonal approach, resulting in something that slots in nicely to any rotation.
