Nike heads to the hills with the NIKE AIR MAX 90 LIGHT BONE WHITE-PLATINUM TINT resulting in an almost ACG-esque edition of the popular runner.
The history behind the 90 is well-known: Tinker Hatfield was the creative genius behind the design, taking his inspiration from the futuristic look of the Pompidou Center in Paris. Fast-forward to today and we’re currently enjoying the 30th anniversary of the design, with the shoe looking just as fresh today as it did when it first hatched all those years ago. Following a similarly themed edition (seen here), this latest release looks to be part of a Mountaineering pack, with plenty of visual references to off-road activity. Light shades of grey and beige form the overall canvas, with fluorescent green accents to enhance the design further and add a little panache to the proceedings. Diamond-stitched canvas and layered mesh give a heavy-duty look to the shoe, whilst the semi-translucent lace toggles and pull tabs on the tongue and heel add to the utilitarian theme.
