Following on from their 997 collaboration earlier this year, New York-based brand Aimé Leon Dore continues to stay ahead of the game with two colourful new takes on the 990V2 and 990V5. In true ALD form, they posted a quick Instagram teaser that draws inspiration from vintage New Balance ads but now we have a full view of both shoes ahead of the initial drop. Both models work a muted mix of blue and forest green uppers, with the 990 working a colourful dose of yellow across the laces and back heel, which also houses “ALD” lettering. UK fans of the 990 will be pleased to hear the model will reach END. this weekend.
