The NEW BALANCE 574 MLP sees the Boston-based brand unearth a lost ’80s prototype for the latest slant on their popular retro silhouette.
After giving one of their most sought after retro models a modern twist with the 574 Sport earlier this year, New Balance goes for another overhaul on the vintage running-inspired silhouette with the classic 574 MLP. Flipping the script on what they achieved with the 574S, the MLP decides to go back in time rather than forward and draws inspiration from a ‘80s design prototype that was never actually used by the brand…until now.
A missing link between the 576 and 574, it incorporates New Balance’s penchant for casual running silhouettes that embody an effortless throwback style by utilising a combination of mesh and suede uppers, finally putting this once lost prototype into practice with a choice of either royal blue, burgundy, or deep navy colourways. As always, check the forthcoming drop out in the images and let us know your verdict on this vintage-inspired rendition…
The NEW BALANCE 574 MLP is set to release on SATURDAY 9 SEPTEMBER. Until then, shop the current 574 range with NEW BALANCE by following the banner below.
