nanamica × PUMA Season 2 Does Minimalism Right
Continuing on from a successful Season 1 collaboration, nanamica x PUMA join forces once again to give us nanamica x PUMA Season 2.
The original partnership saw the iconic ‘Suede’ undergo an innovative makeover to give us the VTG GTX ‘Vintage Khaki’ and ‘Parisian Night’. Looking towards Collaboration Season 2, we can expect a fusion of comfortable practicality and streamlined style. This is ideal for those we value simplicity done well. The second leg of the collab will include two sleek iterations of the PUMA Clyde GTX, in ‘White’ and ‘Black’. Additionally, an array of contemporary workwear accompanies the sneakers, including two sets of hoodies, tee’s, bottoms and coats.
Sporting an inverse palette of Black and White, the PUMA Clyde GTX oozes minimalistic innovation that makes for simplified styling. Nanamica’s GORE-TEX stamp makes the dominating design feature of the silhouette, ensuring waterproofing for the wet endeavours. Adding another layer of cleanliness to the mix, lace holes are a thing of the past when it comes to these iterations. The upper takes on a premium leather, contrasted with the classic suede PUMA Formstripe. Just when you think this adaptation couldn’t possibly get any more streamlined, just take a closer look. You see that stitching on the Formstripe? No, you can’t. Exactly! A stitchless technique allows for an even more sophisticated design. Navy insole lining pays homage to nanamica’s sea-inspired brand story.
The apparel side of nanamica x PUMA Season 2 boasts a generally blue and navy colour palette. With each product doused in functionality, these items are guaranteed to serve with more than one purpose. As a result, utility coats feature wind flaps to minimise wind infiltration, whilst both hoodies include a half-zip element that enables you to adjust the fit surrounding your chest. Arriving in PUMA Navy and Varsity Green, striped tee’s utilise 100% cotton jersey adorned with a collaborative branding box print on the back. The bottoms draw inspiration from the cutting of climbing pants, prioritising maximum comfort and style.
