The KARHU FUSION 2.0 MOUNT SAANA PACK sees another model brought back as part of the Legend collection.
After the successful relaunch of the Aria a few months ago, KARHU now reintroduce the FUSION, but with some tweaks to bring it up to date. In 1996, the FUSION was the brand’s top running shoe and almost two decades later they have brought it back from the archives, with the help of the shoe’s original designer. The measurements of the sole unit and upper were revised to make the silhouette more aesthetically pleasing, but original details (such as the tongue label and the rubberised collar print) have been retained to stay true to the original.
The first release includes a trio of colourways that are linked to the sacred MOUNT SAANA mountain, a popular trail and outdoor sports destination in Northern Finland. The pack comes in warm autumn foliage colours as a nod to the mountain’s seasonal appearance. The uppers, constructed in a mix of pigskin suede and water resistant leather, come in a choice of navy blue and brown, orange and red or dark green and brown. All three pairs sit on contrasting white midsoles, with speckling to add some detail, whilst the outsoles tie in nicely with the uppers. This material selection, combined with the hiking-style laces and the camouflage printed insoles, gives the FUSION 2.0 pack a trail running style with a smart casual edge.
The KARHU FUSION 2.0 MOUNT SAANA PACK is set to drop on WEDNESDAY 11 NOVEMBER and will be available via the banner below.
