Air Jordan 3 'Seoul 2.0'

It’s been seven years since the original Air Jordan 3 ‘Seoul’ debuted- a limited edition release that honoured the 30th anniversary of Seoul hosting the 1988 Summer Olympics. Now, sneakerheads are in for a treat: Jordan Brand appears ready to revisit the concept with an all-new ‘Seoul 2.0’ colourway, recently teased by artist BTS’ J-Hope.

A closer look at the Air Jordan 3 ‘Seoul 2.0’….

While full details are still under wraps, the early preview shown during the NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors hints at a nostalgic yet refreshed take on the classic.

The updated design features a pre-aged aesthetic, including a yellowed white midsole paired with a grey outsole. Jordan Brand also tweaked the elephant print, opting for two contrasting grey tones instead of the traditional black-on-grey combo.

Signature details like the black ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel make a return, and the red and blue collar has been retextured for a more modern look. One of the shoes showcases the South Korean flag on the tongue- paying homage to the original release, though it remains unclear whether the new pair will include the same Hangeul script inside the tongue tags as before.

There’s still no official drop date info from Jordan Brand, but rumor has it that the Air Jordan 3 ‘Seoul 2.0’ can be expected to drop on May 15, 2025, via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
