Update, 10th April, 2026 – Nike has just made it official. After a month of speculation, the full ‘Mad 90’ Pack has finally broken cover. The Air Max 90 silhouette gets a makeover that remembers the Hypervenom, Mercurial, Laser 90, and Tiempo football boots from the past.
Let’s check all the details of the Nike Mad 90 Pack:

This pack doesn’t just show a simple colour swap. Nike has taken the Air Max 90 silhouette and completely re-engineered the uppers to mirror the DNA of four pitch-side titans from the past: the Total 90 (Laser), Mercurial, Tiempo, and Phantom. It’s a celebration of the Swoosh’s footballing heritage, distilled into a lifestyle silhouette that’s been a street staple since 1990.
While you’ll still find that chunky midsole and the signature Max Air cushioning underfoot, the uppers have been given the football vibe. We’re talking specialised materials and textures that pay direct homage to Nike’s most iconic moments in sport. Whether it’s the sleek speed of the Mercurial or the refined leather feel of the Tiempo, each pair feels like a love letter to the beautiful game.
Ready to secure your pair? You don’t have much longer to wait. The entire four-piece collection of the Nike Mad 90 Pack, featuring the Air Max 90 Hypervenom, Mercurial, Laser 90, and Tiempo, is slated for a global drop on 11th May 2026 via Nike.
As always, these are expected to move fast. Make sure you’re checking back in with our Release Calendar to stay ahead of the game.

Original Post, 10th March 2026 – Let’s be honest: the crossover between terrace culture and streetwear has maybe never been stronger than it is atm, but Nike just might have taken it to a whole new level. As the Air Max 90 officially enters its 35th-anniversary celebrations (a bit late, but we’re not complaining…), the Swoosh is paying homage to the beautiful game of football by blending Tinker Hatfield’s masterpiece with two legendary football cleat designs.
We’re talking about the Air Max 90 ‘T90 Zest’ and ‘Bright Citrus Hypervenom’. If you spent your Saturdays in the late 2000s or early 2010s trying to emulate Wayne Rooney or Neymar Jr., these are going to hit different…
First up, we get the Air Max 90 ‘T90 Zest’. Dressed in the well-known vibrant yellow and black, it’s a direct nod to the boot that defined an era of power and precision. And Nike didn’t just slap on the colours; they’ve integrated the actual DNA of the T90, too.
Look closely at the forefoot, and you’ll see the plastic radial overlays, the famous strike zone that helped many of us (unsuccessfully) try to curve it like Rooney.

Then we have the ‘Bright Citrus’ Hypervenom iteration. This one is all about that 2013 energy. Channelling the boot that replaced the T90 and became the weapon of choice for the world’s deadliest attackers, it features a textured honeycomb-like upper that mimics the original NikeSkin tech.
It’s sharp, aggressive, and purely nostalgic.

While the aesthetics are pure football, the foundation remains 100% lifestyle. You’re getting the classic AM90 silhouette with its chunky visible Air unit and comfortable foam midsole, but with a material execution that feels technical.
It’s a playful, high-energy pack that bridges the gap between the stadium and the street, especially with the 2026 World Cup just around the corner….
Both the Nike Air Max 90 ‘T90 Zest’ and the ‘Bright Citrus Hypervenom’ are set to drop on 11th May 2026. Actually, the entire four-piece collection of the Nike Mad 90 Pack, featuring the Air Max 90 Hypervenom, Mercurial, Laser 90, and Tiempo, is set drop that day via Nike.
