Footpatrol is stepping into new terrain with its first-ever collaboration with Salomon, reviving the cult-favourite XT-4 OG for the city streets. This is more than a mash-up – it’s trail-born DNA re-engineered for pavement, nightlife, and everything in between.
This clean collaboration keeps the tech backbone Salomon is known for – think Agile Chassis Skeleton support, Contagrip outsoles, and the signature speed-lacing system – but wraps it in a design that’s part stealth, part statement.
Visually, the shoe is striking in its simplicity. A symmetrical black-to-white gradient mesh upper meets alternating TPU overlays that flip the colours on the medial and lateral sides. It’s a refined contrast, one that highlights the XT-4’s sculptural lines without screaming for attention.
True to Footpatrol’s roots, there are clever nods to the brand’s dual cities – ‘LDN’ (London) and ‘PAR’ (Paris) branding lands on the toebox, tongue tags, and insoles, tying the aesthetic to Footpatrol’s retail legacy. This is a limited-edition move, positioning the XT-4 OG not just as performance gear but as a wearable statement in the crossover between trail tech and streetwear flair.
The Footpatrol x Salomon XT-4 OG is set to drop on 25TH SEPTEMBER 2025 via Footpatrol’s site and flagship stores. Launch parties to celebrate the release will be kicking off in London (on launch day) and Paris (the following day).
