Nike pays tribute to the original design sketches of the Air Max 95 with the introduction of the Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Reverse Gradient’. The design is based on an early sketch by Sergio Lozano, in which the gradient flows from light to dark.
Instead of the classic gradient with darker tones at the bottom, this model starts with white at the sole and transitions to grey and black towards the top.
Nike is going all out with the Air Max 95 this year. To celebrate the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, the brand is bringing back a nostalgic colourway. The sneaker was unveiled during a special event at the MoMA Design Store in Soho, New York City. Like many recent Air Max 95 releases, this one was also highly praised.
The Air Max 95 OG ‘Reverse Gradient’ features a black base with overlays that fade from white to dark grey towards the collar.
Neon yellow accents on the lace loops and mini Swoosh add a striking twist to the sneaker. Just like the OG ‘Neon’ colourway, the sneaker comes with a green Air unit. It also includes three different sets of laces.
The Air Max 95 ‘Reverse Gradient’ will most likely be released by Nike in the coming months of 2025. An exact release date has not yet been announced. Keep an eye out for the latest updates via the Drop Date newspage.
