Daily Paper and Converse Team Up for the ‘Rise Through the Ropes’ Collection
Daily Paper x Converse is back at it! In 2024, Dutch label Daily Paper teamed up with Converse for the first time, launching the “Colors of Independence” collection—celebrating cultural diversity and freedom, values deeply rooted in both brands. Now, for their next chapter in 2025, the Star Player model takes center stage. This latest collaboration brings both high-top and low-top versions of the classic silhouette in clean colourways.
A closer look at the Daily Paper x Converse 2025 collection…
The Star Player 76 was the second Converse sneaker in history to feature the iconic star and chevron logo, following its debut on the All Star Pro. What a classic design they’ve chosen for this collaboration!
The two sneaker designs feature stars on the upper, with the Converse Star Player Ox incorporating the colours of the Pan-African flag. On the Daily Paper x Converse Star Player 76 ‘Black,’ the classic Converse heel logo has been replaced with the Daily Paper logo, while the tongue also displays the Amsterdam-based label’s logo
The high-top Daily Paper x Converse Star Player 76 ‘White Sand’ features a more subtle design. The upper combines various shades of grey, crafted from leather, suede, and mesh. Suede accents at the lace eyelets and branding on the upper add a distinctive touch.
The Converse x Daily Paper ‘Rise Through the Ropes’ collection also includes apparel that embodies resilience, perseverance, and the spirit of overcoming challenges.
The range features cropped hoodies, shorts, sweats, and a Varsity Jacket, all adorned with the brands’ logos. Designed for active wear, the pieces are crafted from flexible materials, ideal for intense workouts. The jacket design for example features an emblem in the shape of a boxer – another nod to the collection’s DNA.

The Daily Paper x Converse Star Player 76 ‘White Sand’ and ‘Black,’ along with the accompanying apparel collection, are set to drop at Converse and select retailers on April 4th, 2025.
