Converse presents the CONS One Star Pro Mid Ben Raemers Foundation
The launch of the CONVERSE CONS ONE STAR PRO MID – BEN RAEMERS FOUNDATION shines the spotlight onto the stigma that surrounds mental health, following the tragic loss of professional skater Ben Raemers in 2019.
When Ben Raemers took his own life in May 2019, everyone was completely shocked. Ben’s love of life and overall exuberance was contagious and heartwarming, making him one of the most-loved personalities in the skate scene. On top of that, his abilities on a skateboard were unparalleled and he made friends and fans wherever he went. Converse has released this special One Star Pro Mid in collaboration with the Ben Raemers Foundation, paying tribute to Ben and his life. The Ben Raemers Foundation aims to break the stigma and burden that so often clouds the difficult subject of mental health: by raising awareness within the wider skateboarding community, the foundation serves as a reminder that if you or someone you know is struggling, it’s always ok to ask for help.
