BAIT x adidas Stan Smith Vulc 4/20 – Raffle
The BAIT X ADIDAS STAN SMITH VULC 4/20 sees the two brands collaborate on a medicinal marijuana inspired shoe.
If you didn’t already know, 4/20 (or the 20th of April for the non-Americans out there) has become a counterculture holiday in North America, where people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis. To celebrate this fact, BAIT and ADIDAS have come together to produce an unusual look on the STAN SMITH VULC. The upper is constructed from hemp, with a heat-pressed treatment that creates the unique pattern, whilst Green suede detailing at the heel adds some contrast. Nods to the medicinal marijuana inspiration can be seen throughout, including the custom tongue label and tab, heel tab and insole label. The finishing touch is the most discreet of all of them… a stash pocket on the underside of the tongue, which allows you to hide away small items. This is a real departure from the original look of a STAN SMITH, but one we think some people will appreciate.
