2020 has already played host to a selection of interesting takes on the Gel-Lyte III, including the mita Trico 2020 and forthcoming “Kobe Beef” edition. Here the shoe is transformed in a “Modern Tokyo” treatment, working a mix of black and white across the runner from ‘91, including translucent panels stretching across the toe and midfoot. Striped lines and numbers represent the famous Shibuya crossing, or “Scramble”, which is believed to be one of the world’s busiest road crossings.
